In the four seasons that we get enjoy every year, each has its own flavor. Autumn, however, seems the best time of year for many writers. In this category, you’ll definitely find me. I’m at my best, as a novelist, when it is cozy and warm and very quiet. Both fall and winter offer this opportunity. In North Florida, where I live, winter is generally tolerable. It is far different from the punishable atmosphere that folks in the north get to endure each year. Sometimes, we seek for excuses to procrastinate. We all know that inspiration flows better when the noise is gone, and the room is warm. Try it.
This picture was taken last month when I was Strasbourg, France. It sheds the perfect look of an autumn morning.
