I feel I’ m at my best in the early morning hours. The inspiration flows like a pristine water from the river source. But lately, I find it hard to keep up with this schedule. I guess with the coming of age, the body has not been so cooperative. Consequently, hitting the gym in the morning is all I feel like doing to get reenergized. By then, it’s already time to eat breakfast and hit the road. Off to work I go. At work, it’s all about strategic writing…. When I get home in the afternoon, sometimes early evening, I’m dead-tired. The rest, you know….
So, to circumvent this vicious cycle of dilemma I have been doing a trick I used to do back in the day when I was a public-school teacher, writing whenever I could—between breaks, at the lunch table…Then, I would revise and polish (somewhat) during weekends. I’m not sure if this is the best way. Fellow writers, I’m seeking advice. How is your situation?
