In time of uncertainty, writers pull their strength for the well of their past—souvenirs from priceless times. I’m one of the Covidiots who has become nostalgic to the way things were, and I refuse to be cowed by obsessively depressive news. I do not doomscroll. I WRITE—writing about a world dominated by predatory actions of those who have the power to dictate the course of history, writing about millions of us who are fighting back. Certainly, humanity now faces an invisible enemy with all its fatalistic manners, but not all of us are experiencing it the same way.
